Dhaka – Former Australian cricketer Brett Lee has been appointed as the mentor of Nepal T20 League.

Lee, who arrived in Nepal on Thursday evening, has been appointed as a mentor by the Nepal T20 League through a press conference on Friday.

Six teams are competing in the first edition of the Nepal T20 League, which will be held from the second week of October.

Pokhara Avengers, Farwestern United, Capitals, Lumbini All Stars, Biratnagar Superkings and Janakpur Royals will compete in the league.

CAN has handed over the hosting rights to India’s Seven Three Sports.

The upcoming Nepal T20 League will be held in Kathmandu from October 8th to October 5th. In which Nepali players will get salary based on three categories. Can says that 15 lakhs will be given to the first class players, 10 lakhs to the second and 5 lakhs to the third.

CAN opened online registration to select players for the league. Where players will be selected through draft. According to CAN, more than 1,000 players have registered online.
