Maruti Suzuki India has today launched the new updated model of its famous MPV car Maruti Eeco in the domestic market. Adorned with attractive looks and better seating capacity, the company has introduced this car with a more powerful engine. The company claims that this car will give more mileage than the previous model. The starting price of this car has been fixed at Rs 5.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Maruti Eeco has been introduced by the company with new refreshed interior and advanced features. The K-Series Dual-Jet VVT petrol engine of 1.2 liters capacity has been used in this car, which generates power of 80.76 PS and torque of 104.4 Nm. The company claims that its petrol version will give 25 percent more mileage than the previous model. In petrol mode, this car gives a mileage of up to 19.71 kmpl. Whereas the CNG version gives a mileage of 26.78 kmpl.

In Maruti Suzuki Eeco, the company has included reclining front seat, cabin air filter, dome lamp and new battery saving function. Apart from this, while improving the safety in this car, 11 safety features have been included in it. In which illuminated hazard lights, dual airbags, engine immobilizer, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), child lock, sliding doors, reverse parking sensors etc. are available.
The digital instrument cluster, new steering wheel, rotary controls for the AC and the heater are minor upgrades to the cabin. Its petrol variant gets 60 liters of boot space. The car has been offered in 5 colours, which include Solid White Metallic Silky Silver Pearl Midnight Black Metallic Glistening Gray and Metallic Brisk Blue (new colour).
