
Shishir from Karnataka has secured first position in IIT JEE Advanced this year. Shashir has also secured top rank in JEE Main as well as topper in state level pharmacy entrance exam. The young man from Bangalore has been studying consistently but claims that he hasn’t put in the 12-14 hours of study that is considered necessary to crack such exams.
While talking to news18.com, he said that studying does not require long hours but interest. Which is essential to crack any entrance exams. Shashir is a student of Narayana E-Techno School in Vidyaranyapura.
Naho said that he used to take a short break after every hour of exam preparation. However, regular breaks did not mean lack of focus.
He claims that it is his persistence that has always kept him motivated. He said he makes sure he reads every day. He has been preparing for IIT admission for the past two years.
Apart from EIT admission, he has also secured first rank in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) under Pharma category. He scored 178/180 marks in Karnataka Common Entrance Test and got 100% in the set. He scored 97.9% in his CBSE 12th board exams.
Shishir scored 314 out of 360 marks in the IIT entrance exam. A total of 155538 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced out of which only 40712 candidates qualified.
