Strong election campaign is being done by veteran leaders of political parties regarding the MCD elections. Voting for MCD elections will be held on Sunday. Now the election campaign on behalf of political parties has been intensified. Veteran leaders of political parties on Wednesday held roadshows in various areas of Delhi and appealed to the people to vote in support of their party’s candidates. Crowds of people also gathered in many road shows.


Political parties are ready to hold many rallies and public meetings for the next three days.


Political parties have stepped up preparations to register the victory of their party’s candidates in the MCD elections. For the next three days, a strategy has been chalked out for door-to-door election campaign with road shows, public meetings, street meetings, padyatras in many areas of Delhi. In this, along with the workers, many star campaigners of the party will also take charge. The drummers are also being actively supported in the door to door campaigning in the streets. Pamphlets of promises made by political parties are also being distributed to the people.


Many central ministers and state chief ministers of BJP campaigned through road shows

BJP named it Vijay Sankalp Road Show. A large number of party workers were present in these roadshows and people also participated. Union Minister of State and MP from New Delhi Meenakshi Lekhi along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari campaigned in a road show at Amar Colony, Malviya Nagar, Delhi. At the same time, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia campaigned in Ashok Nagar, Ram Nagar and Welcome Colony of East Delhi’s Rohtas Nagar assembly constituency.


On Wednesday, 14 senior BJP leaders along with BJP Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Bhupendra Yadav, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur staged road marches at several places in Delhi. Campaigned for MCD election while taking out the show.


On Wednesday, several Union Ministers of BJP and Chief Ministers of various states campaigned in different areas of Delhi by taking out roadshows in view of the MCD elections.


During this, AAP’s Delhi state convenor Gopal and others were also present with him. On the other hand, senior AAP leader and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Wednesday met people by undertaking padayatras in various wards of Laxmi Nagar, Krishna Nagar and Patparganj. During this, a large number of party workers and local people also joined him in the march. People were also seen discussing their issues with the Deputy CM during the padayatra.
