New Delhi: The International Cricket Council has released the schedule of the T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa next year i.e. 2023. The Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on February 20 with a match between hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka. The final of the tournament will be played on February 26. A reserve day has also been kept for the speech competition. The 10 countries are divided into two separate groups.

Teams of India and Pakistan are in Group-2. England, West Indies and Ireland are also in this group. Meanwhile, five-time champions Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are in Group A. Bangladesh and Ireland have qualified for the T20 World Cup through the qualifiers.

India’s second match will be against the West Indies in Cape Town on February 15. The Indian team will play their third match against England on February 18. They will play their last group match against Ireland on February 20. The first semi-final of the Women’s T20 World Cup will be played on February 23 in Cape Town. Meanwhile, the second semi-final will be played on February 24 in Cape Town itself. A reserve day has been kept for both the semi-final matches.
